Robin LaFevers Author Signing

On April 4th I get to meet Robin LaFevers author of Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph!

The Kings English is hosting, and there is a bloggers conference before the signing... And I get to go!

I love her books, can't wait to meet her! If you haven't read any of her books yet, check them out!

Seventeen-year-old Ismae escapes from the brutality of an arranged marriage into the sanctuary of the convent of St. Mortain, where the sisters still serve the gods of old. Here she learns that the god of Death Himself has blessed her with dangerous gifts—and a violent destiny. If she chooses to stay at the convent, she will be trained as an assassin and serve as a handmaiden to Death. To claim her new life, she must destroy the lives of others.

Ismae’s most important assignment takes her straight into the high court of Brittany—where she finds herself woefully under prepared—not only for the deadly games of intrigue and treason, but for the impossible choices she must make. For how can she deliver Death’s vengeance upon a target who, against her will, has stolen her heart?

Sybella arrives at the convent’s doorstep half mad with grief and despair. Those that serve Death are only too happy to offer her refuge—but at a price. Naturally skilled in both the arts of death and seduction, the convent views Sybella as one of their most dangerous weapons....
(The rest is a bit of a spoiler for Grave Mercy)

Any other fans of her books out there? Have you met her?

  1. So I'm the complete idiot who barged into the middle of the blogger conference...we had no idea that's what was going on! The library staff said to go on in, so...

Wasn't it a fabulous event? I loved hearing about her process and getting more in depth with the characters. Now I need to reread both books. :)

    1. Well... The staff at the library weren't the most helpful. They had me running all over the place trying to find the right room. I only figured it out when Robin showed up and I just followed her.

But yes, it was fantastic! I enjoyed it so much! I plan on rereading Grave Mercy soon, I read the arc for Dark Triumph, it will be nice to read the final version.
